About Us

When I bought my first sawmill in 1996 to supplement my finances while I was attending college, I had no intention of making a living by the sawmill business - much less milling antique flooring. Realizing that this creative trade was my calling, I sold my original bandmill and worked my way up the equipment ladder. Eleven successful years and three bandmills later, I have the means to buy reclaimed beams and lumber, saw them to a specified size, and tongue and groove the boards in a back relief cut for the end result - a beautiful, elegant, and completely unique heartpine floor.

My wife and I, along with our three children are now in the midst of a growing business. We enjoy living in Southwest, Virginia between the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains. We are very interested in your business and have a professional staff to care for your flooring needs.
